Introducing 2021 Fellow - Eric Hansen
Eric Hansen (CAMS, FIS) has been advising clients on issues pertaining to regulatory compliance and operational risk for 15 years. At present, he is the Head of Sales and Marketing at ManchesterCF, a Toronto-based firm that provides online financial intelligence training programs to financial institutions, financial intelligence units and law enforcement.
Eric is a member of Transparency International’s Working Group on Beneficial Ownership Transparency. He also serves as an independent advisor at Resolution Compliance Consulting.
Previously, Eric was the Director of Risk and Compliance at Dow Jones Canada from 2012 to 2019, where he spearheaded new products for the Canadian market such as a Domestic PEP Database, and a Panama Papers Watchlist. Eric has been a guest lecturer at Seneca College and has published various articles papers on beneficial ownership and AML screening procedures.
